About Thomas Holmes:
Thomas Holmes is a registered psychologist in Alberta. Thomas has 15 years of experience in education as an inclusive education teacher, school counsellor, principal and associate superintendent. Thomas has served as President of the ATA Guidance Council supporting school counsellors in Alberta and was recognized for his work in mental health through Top 40 under 40 in 2017. In 2018, Thomas moved into private practice and currently supports First Nations communities by ensuring they have access to quality mental health services and his work includes learning more about indigenous ways of knowing and healing alongside western ways of knowing to create a system of support he calls a “two-eyed seeing” approach.
