Public education needs a leader like Julie at this critical time. Why?
Education is full of difficult issues. Julie has a track record of taking contentious issues, listening and finding a positive way forward. We need a leader who can help us through curriculum, COVID and funding. Julie has:
- the respect of top civic leaders in Edmonton
- 12 consecutive years of championing grassroots initiatives that lead to real change for students, schools and the community
- the governance experience that a trustee needs
- over a decade of board experience
- a Master’s degree focused on youth engagement
Ward F is Julie’s home. It’s where her children were born and where she has put down her roots. Julie is a proud Edmonton parent of four, and her kids attend Edmonton Public schools.
